The New God will be Future Self and Humanity.

We will migrate from a biological terrestrial framework to a habitable environment of our own devise: A technological hosted virtual platform that will house our consciousnesses and provide for boundless experience and sensory input.

We will presume to be resurrected into an everlasting life that has a biological reference point, but no individual biological limitations.

We will begin the project now, and we will collect our data and ideas with the express demand of posterity that we be consciously resurrected.

We will pray. We will envision ourselves as seen already by posterity (oh, the eyes of Argus!), that we are indeed writing our own narrative destiny as we perform actions in the here and now. We will envision the future, and the beneficial possibilities it holds, precisely because we demand them, and we work toward them, to meet the future where we are. We are the observer, not just of the world around us, but watching our present reality become our future.

Because here's the thing: If such religion catches on, it can't fail, because the only thing it requires is a humanity collected for a cause, and we are already on the correct path.

This would be the last human religion.
